It's been like an hour! (If you don't get that quote, I am disappointed in you and you should go on Youtube and watch the second part to Harvard Sailings team, Boys Will be Girls.) But really, we traveled forever today. Every time we stopped to make sure we were going in the right direction the person would say "oh, it is about a five minute walk." A five minutes turned to 25 each time! We followed Olympic park signs that somehow disappeared. After four different tube lines on both the underground and overground lines, a walk, a public bus, more walking we found the Olympic park. That was closed. To the public. By that point, we just laughed. We had made it all this round about way to the park to stand outside the gates. Actually, we couldn't even walk up to the gates. We stood on the road looking at the gates that the park was in. Then after that news we asked the security guy to take our picture to document this really great story and he said he couldn't because he was on duty. That just made us laugh more. Eventually we got the picture, kept on walking and found the huge mall that is by the park. Good enough? Guess it will have to be! To end the day, we had a group crepe party. It was a good food day for sure.
My chicken wrap from Borough Market.
Outside the gates of the Olympic park. After we asked a stranger to take the picture.
The entry walkway into the new mall.
Crepes. Never a bad idea.
