Went on a walk in a winter wonderland.

Picture this: Everyone gathered around a large table for Thanksgiving. Ten people in all, double my normal Thanksgiving day. Next everyone in 3D swagger glasses watching Tangled. Then, Heather, Sarah and I walking around Target with people already there waiting for Black Friday sales.

Guess what? It's Thanksgiving break! My sister, Heather, Sarah's sister, and Sarah all went to Sarah's grandparent's house in St. George! I didn't bring my laptop though so I can't post a picture. I am blogging from my phone instead. We have had so much good food already. We also are on two watching our second movie. Unfortunatley I can't figure out how to do anything besides type. No picture will be able to be posted until I am back in the dorms. But picture this: all of us sitting around the tv watching How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. It's been a good day.

There was a blizzard warning that was suppose to be "the most severe in several years". Yeah no, we got none of that in Provo. So anticlimactic.

So I got two packages from my family today and this was the card that came along with the first package. A few days a go I told my mom that I wanted her to send me stuffing in the mail because it is my favorite part of Thanksgiving. This is the first time I won't be home for Thanksgiving ever which means I need her stuffing. And so this is what she sends. 

Needless to say, a half the box is already gone. And yes, I mean the raw stuffing cubes.

She also sent some other goodies, including this necklace. Which is really ironic because just today I texted her saying how I wanted this exact necklace for Christmas. Little did I know she already sent me it for this wonderful Holiday! I love all these necklaces. They are called Symbol Things and me and my mom found them in the cutest store Downtown Portland on 23rd. This will now add to my collection and make it number two that I own. So with the stuffing, necklace and quarters so I can do my laundry it was a really good package.

On a totally different note, this is the view from my room. The mountains turned pink today!

Some girls on my hall, Lynn and Chex, posted a picture they cut out of the Ensign and put it on the other side of my peephole in my door. I like it.

Heather and I have been sick for way too long.

With all my time spending in the dorm I made mini snowflakes and hung them up. 

I went to the student health center today. Luckily, my sister drove me and brought me soup and sprite. She is the best!

Still sick but I actually left my room today. Twice. The sunset was beautiful tonight.

I am running out of things to take pictures of. I don't think I left my room once today besides to go to the bathroom. I also haven't worn real clothes in a long time, hence this picture of me in this lovely outfit. 

This is what I did on my second sick day. I love this movie, especially Chris Pine.

Heather and I both ordered shoes online and they both came today! I got the simple white sneakers and Heather bought the super sick Nikes.

I am sick with a cold. This is where the majority of my day has been spent.

I normally wouldn't like a blog post saying how much I bought/spent. But I couldn't believe the deals I found today so I had to share. Plus my mom wants to see what I got, and this is the best way to show her! I also have a slight obsession with shopping. But I can find good deals so that also makes it okay right? This was also a late birthday shopping trip because I was given money to spend for my birthday but never got a chance to go shopping until now. Such a good day with my sister at the Gateway mall.

P.s I have no room in my closet for any of these things. Not sure what to do about it yet...

Today I had a pomegranate for the very first time. I even had the privilege of getting the seeds out. My sister and I also had a photoshoot with it for her blog. So yes, we have twin blogs right now. Daylight savings has made such a big difference. That, and winter is just coming fast. This was around 8:30 and it was so dark and cold!

Horrible picture but wonderful dinner and dessert tonight at Natalie's! We watched a CES fireside by Elder Ballard and had homemade mashed potatoes, pot roast, rolls, beans and carrots, cake and ice cream. 100 times better than the cannon center.

The only utensils I have in college are a bowl and spoon for cereal so I have to get creative. 

So sunny. So warm. So lazy. Such a perfect fall day. We laid outside our dorm after class today and it was wonderful. I just watched the leaves fall and listened to Taylor Swift's new CD, Speak Now. Which by the way, is only $3.99 on amazon.com. By the end of the hour or so we were out there 4 other people had joined in the warmth of the sun. We wanted to soak all we could before the cold winter comes.

There is a puppy in training in my SFL class that is there every class. Seeing the puppy actually motivates me to go to class haha. It is always a few rows in front of me and usually sleeps during class. So adorable. It makes me miss my dog, Buffy!

Heather and I made a paper chain to count down to important events. The first half with the blue and yellow is until Thanksgiving, then the countdown until we go home starts with the pink and orange. After that is eight days left once we get home until Christmas.
