BYU vs. USF. Our team was looking pretty good!

My day started off with Mitchell texting me in my first class like this, "Are you and Erin free tonight? And would you be up for a drive? My friend has Jazz tickets." To which I immediately responded with "Yes!!!"
Who knew we would end up watching the game in the sixth row. It was an amazing experience. Also, the fact that I have gone to two NBA games in just a few weeks is a good ratio to start off 2012.

The weather in Utah is unbelievably warm for January. I feel like we are heading to spring. It is just teasing me with the sun! I would like some snow though. Maybe just for a few weeks to experience a little bit of winter.

I still love watching planes land and take off.
I also had the most amazing views from my window flying to Provo. I left around sunset and the colors were so vibrant. This picture doesn't even do it justice. At one point, the sky was a rainbow of colors with green, orange, red and blue.

Last time I am going to see this view right before I go to bed. This break from school has been great but I am also looking forward to heading back to Provo tomorrow!

In 2011 I...
-Not only survived but loved my freshman year at BYU.
-Started my sophomore year at college.
-Worked 40 hours a week with children.
-Went to Texas, New York, Washington DC, Hawaii, Washington.
-Went to a lot of mission farewells.
-Wrote countless letters and sent them all over the world.
-Moved into my first apartment.
-Said goodbye to my Grandma Crofts.
-Went to my first NBA game.
-Saw Natalie leave on a mission.
-Saw Jimmer make some great 3 pointers.
-Went Jeepin' for the first time.
-Hiked the Y at night.
-Learned 50 constellations and stars.
-Went to the Bruno Mars concert.

In 2012 I plan on...
-Being happier, nicer, more patient.
-Writing in my journal more.
-Trying more new things.
-Watching the summer Olympics.
-Finding a new job.
-Survive 2012 "doomsday". What do the Mayans know anyways?
-Appreciating Utah more.
-Turning 21.
-Buying a car.
-Doing more service.
-Running. (uh what?! Me, run? We'll see.)

Okay, I think I need to stop. This is becoming very ambitious. But these are worthy goals, hopefully I'll keep them up!

And here we go.
