BYU #9 beat SDSU #4 tonight. I wasn't able to go to the actual game but we watched it with a big group of people in J hall. Best game ever. So glad we won. It was tied a lot and usually within 3 points of each other the whole game. But BYU was able to pull ahead in the second half to win! The campus was just hopping the rest of the night. Everyone in good moods and partying it up.

#32 Jimmer Fredette got 43 points in the game tonight.

Nickle City tonight. Best thing ever. Erin got 1001 tickets, I got nearly 600 but Heather got 2268! New prizes, friendship bracelets, ninja warrior swords, mini basketball hoop and more.

So I plugged in my ipod, as I have many times before, and it made this funny noise and I look down to find a reminder for this. I'll make sure to go to my staff meeting October, 17, 2008. So random, but I loved it because I love OGA!

Sarah and I skyped with the Smith's tonight. We first asked to skype with KJ but she wasn't home. Our next choice was the lovely Luna (their dog). We ended up talking with Luna, Gavin, Janelle and KJ. It was great.

Heather and I got jobs today! This is where we had our interview too, in an office behind the football trailer. I was very lucky I found it because I almost walked all the way back to the other side of the building. But I found it and got hired! The official title is Activities Support. We basically set up/take down for sporting and other events that happen in certain buildings. Events like, volleyball, tennis, gymnastics, baseball etc. It is perfect. They put a sign-up sheet out every Monday morning and you just sign up for the times/events you want to work. It is mostly on the weekends but Heather and I will get to work together. It pays above minimum wage too! I am glad the other jobs didn't work out before because this is exactly what I needed, so I am very thankful for it.

I just walked around my whole room trying to find something to take a picture of. This was by my door. I don't know if you can read it but Heather wrote in under the Stop "collaborate and listen". She did this one of the first days last semester, I knew we would get along after that.

The past two days have been like Oregon winter weather. It has been overcast and warm! At least for Utah standards, 50 degrees today! It has also rained, which I have liked a lot. Falling asleep to the rain is the best.

Heather and I made goals today and posted them on our mirror. Brother Farmer always taught a goal not written down is just a wish, so hopefully it will help!

Heather, Julie, Sarah and I went apartment hunting today. So far the two winners are The Elms and Liberty Square.

Condoleezza Rice came and spoke at BYU today.

We made cinnamon rolls tonight. Nom nom nom.

Struggle of the night was printing Powerpoints. Heather and I spent too much time tonight trying to print out pages she needed for her classes. We tried the printer in our hall and then had to go to the Cannon Center, in our sweats, at 11:00 at night, to try to print it there. After many different job names ("meow", "science", "yay" etc.) and swipes of her ID card (costing 7 cents each time) we finally got some of the pages printed. The most important ones luckily. I think Heather is now motivated to buy ink at the bookstore tomorrow. We are definitely more familiar with the open access printing system BYU has, and how dumb it is.

Oregon Ducks played in the BCS National Championship game against Auburn. It was a great game, both teams had been undefeated and were very evenly matched. It seemed as though for most of the first quarter the game was stuck around the 50 yard line. But, in the end Auburn won 22-19. It was fun to watch it at my sisters place though! It was also fun to bond with the other people wearing Oregon shirts today around campus, minus that one awkward eye contact with the guy in the Auburn shirt...

I got Heather Pascal, the chameleon from the movie Tangled, and it was buy one get one free so I got one too! The fact that we both have one obviously means a photoshoot is a must.
