Ending 2011 with good friends. Happy New Year!

Natalie checked into the MTC today to start her 18 month mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She'll be in Provo for three months then off to Japan she goes! My mom and I stayed home while my dad traveled to drop her off in Provo. I will be in Provo soon enough. Letters will definitely be able to travel fast between us. 

My mom and I went to a Blazer game! It was the first NBA game we have seen in person for both of us! And to make it that much better the Blazers were playing Jimmer's team, the Sacramento Kings. It was great to see him play in person again. 

Dropping off Natalie at the airport. We will miss her but she will do great as a missionary!

Downtown on Christmas eve. 

We were able to make it up to the mountain when I was home for break. I haven't been snowboarding in years. I think next time I am up there again I want to learn how to ski!

 We also did a remake of an old favorite photo. We obviously didn't do that good of a retake though because Natalie and I switched sides. But you get the idea. Plus, Natalie is wearing the same pants and coat, so that rocks.

2006.

Just playing Girl Talk at the Poff's. Kelsey and I found our matches pretty quickly but Jason and Jared struggled a bit. They had to battle it out to see who would be dateless. I think Jared was the last one without a date. 

Natalie gave her farewell talk today. She did an awesome job and will be a great missionary!

This was the longest trip to Target ever. Natalie was getting all her necessities for the mission. I was tricked into coming though! I had no idea her list was 204,567 things long. I thought we were just going for a few minutes. WRONG. But it was an experience to say the least.

We found Heather Road when Nick was gracious enough to take us to the airport! We made a quick stop by his grandmother's home and found that she lives on the coolest street ever. 

Secret Santa exchange with apartment 37 and the last night of all our roommates together. Annie is leaving for study abroad in London. We are going to miss her a ton. 

Sarah does love her chocolate. 

Slumber party still going strong on day 3. 

Nothing like croquet in the morning. 

We do get a lot of studying done when we are together. 

What is college without a little pranking?

Bracken came to visit! We do love him. 

Finals are around the corner and with that has brought interpretive dancing, sock wresting, water fight and other crazy shenanigans. 

Ward temple trip to see the lights. The first picture is my favorite scene in all of Temple Square during Christmas time. Nick also ended up talking to a sweet old lady at the overlook of the temple. She was one world traveler, living in Johannesburg, South Africa and spending months in different places around the world. She had such an interesting perspective and life story. I also was close to not coming on the trip because none of my roommates were able to come. I had to be my own wingwoman. Luckily my ward and friends are awesome and Gabe stopped by our place and convinced me to come. My ward is seriously the best. 

Jordan's apartment had us over for Sunday dinner one of the first weeks in the semester. We definitely owed them a meal.
