We walked out of our apartment to go to church and realized that we all matched. This isn't the first time it has happened either. We are obviously really good friends and should probably be bridesmaids at someone's wedding. Who wants to get married?!

A Walk in the Park
I just love Sundays. Sundays in London are always exactly what I need after a long week. The ward we go to, The Hyde Park Ward, is so friendly. Not only are the people great but I just love that I am able to rest and recollect myself on the Sabbath. It is much needed day. Not only is it great while traveling, but I definitely have noticed the difference it makes in my life even more now that I have been gone.
After a wonderful church service and some time at the flat, Anne, Miranda, Meg and I took a walk in Hyde Park. It was warm, people were out, we went back to the wishing tree, walked around in the Princess Diana Memorial fountains and had a good time just hanging out together. In London. At Hyde Park. How great is that?

Church with these lovely ladies.
My wish at the wishing tree. It is hard to be poetic on the spot. No judging!
Just playing a game of chess.
We found the Peter Pan statue!
Princess Diana Memorial Fountain. The water was colder than the Oregon coast!
Queen's Gate. Home sweet home.

The Rain Will Fall
Sometimes you need a day just to relax. I have noticed this has been especially important while being away for so long. Just some time for yourself, doing normal things, to rejuvenate. Today was the perfect day for that. I went to church where one of my best friend Claire and her family were also! They are on a family trip and went to the same ward in London. It was great to see them! After church I took a nap, read a book, cooked and enjoyed all the time I had to do nothing.
After dinner, Anne, Meg, Saundra and I, went to Hyde Park for a Sunday stroll. It rained. We didn't care. The sun came out and we watched the ducks and swans at the lake. There was a rainbow that added to the experience. We found Princess Diana's memorial and walked along the paths. There were the most adorable wishing trees where people could write their wishes and attach them to the leaves. I loved going through, reading them all and seeing all the different hand writings. We took our time and enjoyed the beauty of it all. We are going to try to go a few times a week because we did not even make a dent in what we saw compared to what the park actually is.

Living It Up Welsh Style
We were able to attend church in Cardiff today. It is always fun to attend church it new places and this was no exception. We had a wonderful time visiting with the members. Once church was over we went to explore a Welsh Museum about the daily life of people who lived in Wales throughout history. There were beautiful grounds to walk through and houses set up to see. It was neat to walk through because I have Welsh ancestry and so this is how some of my relatives might have lived! Okay, maybe not the castle that was on the grounds but definitely the other aspects.

This was our last Sunday in Liberty Square so we decided to have a huge dinner together. AKA let's make all the random stuff that has been in our cabinets all semester. We had rolls, chicken, apple sauce, rice, soup, hash browns, fruit, green beans and spaghetti. It was a good way to clear out our cupboards!
