Thirsty Thursday Mormon style. Smoothies galore. But I loved seeing great friends more than anything.

On Monday mornings I open the Law School Library at the bright and early time of 5:30am. That means that even if I am ready for bed and go to sleep by 10:00pm I get less than 7 hours of sleep. And 10:00pm is a few hours earlier than I normally go to bed. I am definitely developing some good self control these days.

We are feeling the Monday blues today.

Pizza, doughnuts, and licorice. This is college eating at its finest.

A Whirlwind of College Life

This blogging thing is giving me a real tough time lately. I blame it on the fact that I still feel like I am on break. School? What's that. I also blame it on the fact that my phone wouldn't connect to my computer so I couldn't get the pictures for a while. But hey, I am going to do another nice little recap of my life. Hopefully after today I will go back to posting a picture a day. I need to keep up on all my crazy adventures. For example, yesterday I had three or four different things to go to and did I successfully capture those moments? Nope. Fail. Over it. Time to try again.

August 28-
It's official. I cleared my background check for my major. Watch out.

August 29th-
 Got my Oregon license plates!
 Heather bought Spongebob sheets.
And tried on every left over clothing at our apartment.

August 30th-
First football game of the season. Break out the RV and the BBQ for a tailgate party.

August 31-
Say goodbye to August with a bonfire night.

September 1-
Say hello to September with another bonfire night.

September 3-
Hike to Stewart falls.

September 4th-
Heather falls out of her chair. Again.

September 5th-
Start making decorations for my upcoming Italian themed birthday party.

September 6th-
Heather is home for the weekend and we miss her dearly.

September 7th-
Volleyball game! Beat the Utes. Always a good victory. Plus, I got to see Tia play.

September 8th-
Football game by day and soccer game by night. Win over Weber State and then the Woman's soccer game took a big win over #6 Penn State. All to an attendance breaking crowd. Good day to be  a BYU fan.

And Here We Go Again

My life has clearly not been as exciting since being back from Europe. I took a break from blogging because I felt there wasn't anything to actually blog about after I had blogged about castles and cathedrals for so long. But I am glad to say I am back. Today was the first day of my junior year of college. Uh what? Is this real life? I am an upperclassman in college. I am pretty sure I was just a junior in high school. Not college. I am here though, going to BYU trucking a long. I can definitely tell that I have done all this before. I scrounged up a notebook this morning, looked at the building my classes were in right before I left, then accidently left the paper at home, didn't care because I would figure it out, I went to work (at 5:30am!), visited the temple, saw probably a billion people I knew on campus, did a few things for my major all before class even started. Now I am home for about an hour before I go out to FHE. What a day it has been and it is not even dark out!
Well, anyways, enough of my first day of school. I know you all have been dying to know what I have been up in the past couple weeks even though it doesn't take place in Great Britain. Here is a little random recap:

 Portland. Vintage shopping. Voodoo doughnuts.
Nike Employee Store. A version of Heaven.
Bow and arrows with Kelsey.
 A wedding.
A new Awful Waffle.
Starting my new job at the Law Library.
 Costco trips.
New cars and apartment complex with my cousin.
Pool parties in mansions.
Getting my fish, Josh, back.

Boating with some new and old friends.
Infamous first day of school picture. (After the long day might I add.)

Bring it on junior year!

Saturday, March 10, 2012

Today was a great Saturday that was filled with lots of different activities.
There was a tri-ward activity at Seven Peaks. Who doesn't like ice skating? (Besides my roommate Erin and Heather.) But especially for free!
Then we had a small freshman hall reunion! All seven of us. It was nice to catch up with people I use to pass by all the time last year!
The weather has been so incredibly beautiful as of late and so we went and enjoyed some time outside.
