Sometimes BYU does random things like build a castle out of boxes to celebrate recycling. I was happy to see some of the boxes we use at the Law School for briefs being used for something more fun. Obviously Erin and I had to stop and take part in the fun. 

This is what it looks like at 5:30am as I got to work to open up the Law Library. Counting down the days until spring semester starts and the Law Library will open at 8 not 6!

My boss is out of town this week and so I was in charge of delivering the mail today. I come into work and we had the most packages we have ever had! Or at least it seemed like it to me. Took me three different trips with the cart. 

We have some pretty cool old books in our library. Found one from 1800!

On Monday mornings I open the Law School Library at the bright and early time of 5:30am. That means that even if I am ready for bed and go to sleep by 10:00pm I get less than 7 hours of sleep. And 10:00pm is a few hours earlier than I normally go to bed. I am definitely developing some good self control these days. 

The Law Library is my new favorite place to study. Four desks all to myself!

So today was a pretty great day. I found out I have a job for the fall. What a blessing and a relief. I applied to work at the BYU Law School Library for spring. I knew my chances of getting the job would be slim because I won't be here in the summer time but I thought I would try anyways. So I went and interviewed. They called me today and said that they were looking for someone to work both semesters. Which I figured. But then she said they were impressed with me and really liked talking with me and that they thought of another option and extended and offer to work with them when I come back in the fall. I am so overjoyed. It would be great to work at the Law School! Finding jobs on campus is tough and competitive. I wanted to work in the fall but knew it would be hard to find a job, especially when I will be studying abroad for most of the summer to even look. So it just worked out so perfectly. I know that my Heavenly Father was definitely looking out for me today. Heather is obviously the best roommate ever too and made a lovely welcome home for me too because of the great news!
